The Hispanic AIDS Forum (HAF) is an organization working to improve health outcomes for Latinos in New York City who are affected by HIV and other chronic illness. Jane Ashe, RN - 2008 Beatrice Renfield Circle of Excellence Awardee
Jane Ashe, RN at the Robert Mapplethorpe Residential Treatment Facility, has been selected to receive a 20008 Beatrice Renfield Circle of Excellence Award for in Patient Centered Care. A total of eight awards are presented annually for all of BIMC recognizing four staff nurses, one preceptor, one novice nurse, one advanced practice nurse, and one patient care team. Her colleagues at Mapplethrope noted that she perfectly blends clinical knowledge and nursing expertise, psychological sophistication and insight into human behavior, and the care and compassion that characterize an excellent nurse.
