THE MOLLIE AND JACK ZICKLIN JEWISH HOSPICE RESIDENCE

When hospice patients cannot stay in their home, they can receive the highest quality hospice care at our specially designed residence that serves as "home away from home."

The Comforts Of Home - The Zicklin Residence's single or double apartment-like suites offer separate living, dining, kitchen, and bath areas. From the color schemes to the selection of lighting and artwork, every room has been planned to be comfortable for patients and inviting for visitors.

The Mollie and Jack Zicklin Jewish Hospice Residence was created with the generous support of the Jewish Healing and Hospice Alliance, an initiative of UJA-Federation of New York.

Patients at the Zicklin Residence receive 24-hour medical and nursing availability, the companionship of well-trained, caring volunteers, and the opportunity to savor and find meaning in life for as long as possible.

Open to People of All Faiths - Located on a private floor of The Atria adult living facility in Riverdale, the Zicklin Residence is the first and only New York State certified residential hospice under Jewish auspices in the greater New York area.

While open to all faiths, The Zicklin Residence provides a Jewish framework that will guide the care of our Jewish patients before and after death. The residence's kosher kitchen observes Jewish dietary laws. Our staff rabbi provides spiritual enrichment, counseling, or just conversation. Jewish holidays are observed, and the staff is sensitive to Jewish religious and cultural preferences.

Medicare and most private insurance cover the costs of clinical care. Room and board may be covered by Medicaid, long-term care insurance, or private pay. Limited financial assistance is available. Our caring staff can assist patients and families in addressing these and other concerns.

The Mollie and Jack Zicklin Jewish Hospice Residence is located at:

12th Floor

Continuum Hospice Care also owns and operates the Jacob Perlow Hospice Inpatient Unit, Long Island College Hospital Hospice, Harlem Community Hospice & Hospital Swing Bed Suite, as well as The Betty and Morton Yarmon Manhattan Hospice Residence.
