This study will look into the reactions to an investigational drug
on appetite-related senations in healthy women.

Medication for Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC)
This study evaluates the safety, tolerability and effectiveness
of an investigational medication for PBC in people who are currently
taking ursodeoxycholic acid (URSO, UDCA) and have an increased alkaline
phosphatase (AP) blood level for at least 6 months.
Hepatitis
B in Black/African-Americans and Hispanic Patients
The Division of Digestive Diseases is conducting a clinical study
to test an investigational medicine for treatment of chronic hepatitis
B infection in Black/African-American and Hispanic patients who
never been treated for their hepatitis B infection
Study
of Entecavir in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) Infection
The Division of Digestive Diseases is conducting a clinical study
to assess the long-term outcomes (benefits and risks) associated
with entecavir (ETV) therapy as compared to other hepatitis B medication
approved for the treatment of chronic HBV infection.
ENdoscopic
ABlation using Light Energy (ENABLE)
This study seeks to determine if surgical anastomosis of the superficial
temporal artery to the middle cerebral artery (STA-MCA) combined
with best medical therapy can reduce subsequent strokes at two years
by 40%. Eligible participants must have internal carotid artery
occlusion producing hemispheric symptoms within the previous 120
days and ipsilateral increased oxygen extraction fraction measured
by positron emission tomography (PET).
